Description

The Perun Slivovitz is double distilled in closed, controlled and integrated process. It is made of the domestic Serbian prune variety Cacanska rodna (The Fertile Plum Of Cacak) grown at Fruska Gora, Vojvodina. During automated distillation fruity aroma is well preserved and indicators of alcohol, strength, sourness, sweetness are combined and balanced. It is designed to fit every taste. It ages 3 years in barrels made of Serbian domestic oak on the estate. Rapidly becomes one of the most popular Slivovitz in the region.

Located in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina, Perun Distillery brings together a young and enthusiastic team of experienced fruit brandy makers. Distillation is controlled in an automated system of digitized pots that measure the numerous parameters of the distilled brandy to desired levels. So the brandy always has the same taste. Aging takes place in French oak barrels for at least three years; colorless brandy is aged in stainless steel pots. They keep an eye on every detail, so even the heating of the distillery comes from the energy of distilling. Remarkable, isn't it.
