Liqueur is a spirit with a certain amount of sugar, which can vary in amount. In practice it is a sugared and flavored alcohol. Two methods are used to make liqueurs:
By distillation: The aromas of the fruits, grains or plants are produced by distilling them in a distillercoop The distillate or alcoholate produced in this way is mixed with sugar. The distillation enables an extraordinary aroma extraction.
By maceration: in this case, the fruits or plants are mixed with neutral alcohol.
