Description

Ripe plums are distilled in strictly controlled distillation process and aged in oak barrels for couple of years. At the end of aging process the Slivovitz is aged with dried fruits. Therefore it has a bit sweetish ending and no sourness at all. It is full in taste and very balanced, very pleasant to the palate, even to non-Slivovitz drinkers, adjusted to Western consumer’s criteria.

Distillery and winery Pruna is located in the village of Vukovic, which is situated in one of the most picturesque parts of Serbia between Golubac and Kucevo. We owe the magic that is in our bottles to the mighty blue Danube, which flows through the nearby Djerdap Gorge on its way to the Black Sea and carries a secret that gives this climate perfect viticultural qualities.
