Very nice fruity and refreshing aroma. I asked them whether it was an old recipe. I was amazed: they were the first monks distilling the pear brandy in their monastery. Well done job!
Williams Pear Brandy
Very clear and high-quality pear brandy produced from Williams pears in the 13th-century Orthodox Monastery of Kovilj.
Ripe and carefully selected Williams pears are crushed and left to ferment for a couple of weeks in the monastery cellars. The brandy is distilled using traditional methods combined with modern technology.
