Stomaklija Brandy with Medicinal Herbs

Stomaklija is intriguing, but not highest-class brandy. The herbal note is not profficiently so emphasized, so it’s more alike to a mass-industrial drink.

The famous herbal brandy Stomaklija has a mild flavour obtained by macerating 10 medicinal herbs and with a sprig of wormwood in the bottle.

Stromalkija is based as a mixture of various fruit brandies and double-destilled plum brandy Slivovitz in a certain ratio. Brandy is enriched with the macerate of 10 medicinal herbs, which give it a specific taste. During bottling, a sprig of wormwood dipped in edible paraffin is inserted into each bottle, which is used for preservation and does not react with alcohol, and thus does not change the taste of the brandy in the bottle.
