Apricot brandy

The thing that makes apricot brandy special is the fact that it’s a unique combination of simple and exotic. The liqueur itself is distilled from fermented apricot juice and turned into a supreme alcoholic beverage. While this is not the type of brandy that you will find in every bar, the thing worth mentioning is the fact that it always was a favourite of cocktail makers throughout history.

By opening classic cocktail guides from the 1930s (like “The Savoy Cocktail Book” or “Official Mixer’s Manual”), you will find that this liqueur was used in abundance. Still, cocktail-making is just one of the reasons why each household should own a bottle of apricot brandy. 

The fact that it’s somewhat less common on the market, makes the idea of owning a high-end bottle into an even more appealing proposition.
