The best quality of pear brandy is obtained from a pear sort called “Williams”, or Viljamovka in Serbian, that mature in late August. Pear Brandy Viljamovka is distilled from golden yellow and sweet pears, that are ripe and healthy, carefully grown at 15 hectares of family owned orchards in the Central Serbia. Therefore, this pear brandy is a crystal clear with very pleasant and intense aroma, opulent and creamy ripe fruit fragrance.

About the brand - Old Oak distillery

In a small village Zirovnica, in the heart of Sumadija (Central Serbia), not far away from Kragujevac town, is placed a small, family owned winery and distillery “Stari hrast”, i.e. The Old Oak. Namely, in the middle of the family’s wineyards stands a three-hundred-years old oak that is a symbol of family Stevanovic and their long tradition in production of wines and brandies recognized by its quality in Serbia and abroad. At 10 ha of beautiful wineyards and 15 ha of fruitful orchards, this family grows the best quality fruits that is completely used in their production of excellent wines and brandies. The whole production is organized in traditional way, but by the latest technology and under control of top enologists. Such approach resulted with top quality drinks that are more times awarded at various domestic and international competitions.
