I like this odor of ripe quince spreading all over my mouth, palate and nose when I have it. It is refreshing indeed. Calm and mild on one side, probably from its oak, and fruity and vivid, on the other. Vanilla and honey can be felt after the first sip.

Local variety Quince of Leskovac is solely used in fermentation. During modern fractional distillation methanol is extractd, which makes this fruit brandy mild and emphasizes the fresh quince aroma. It is aged in hand-made oak barrels for 5 years afterwards. The oak calms down its liquid, and grants it notes of vanilla and honey.
