You can feel there is less methanol than usual, at the first sip. Lack of methanol emphasizes mildness, but also this Slivovitz is not as tart as we are used to when having typical Slivovitz. Not my type, but taste is a personal matter. But interesting and very well crafted.

Slivovitz Perun of golden-yellow colour, aged in oak for 5 years, strict aroma of slivo and fragrance, traces of vanilla and oak.

Plum Cacanska rodna variety (The Fertile Plum Of Cacak) is picked fully ripe, because of its rich contents of sugar and aroma. During destillation most of the methanol is extracted, which makes this Slivovitz unusually mild and potable. It was aged in hand-crafted oak barrels for 5 years before bottling.
